Warm spices meets a caress of sugar, a sweet heat that veils the skin. Florals are soft, while notes of incense gently ground.

This is such a beautiful skin scent, it feels effortless and comforting. Outstanding composition, and an easy reach! I have worn this many times since receiving it, and it layers beautifully with other scents in the same category.

Smells like a library in a dark academia novel.

It's like an old, forgotten bookstore where dreams of adventure, travel, exotic hidden places, spices and heat, daring, courage, romance and passion, are swirling around each stack and shelf, looking for the person they are meant for.

A whole new world has been opened up to me! I'm new to the world of 'not buying scents at walmart'. Gilded is going to be one of my new signature scents. It is soft, meditative, witchy. Smells like walking into a room that a Coven of witches just walked out of - like your favorite witchy store - like the lingering incense after the spell is over.

This is my perfect witchy ex-Catholic fragrance. Sweet, spiced, and with than lingering bit of incense. I feel magical and powerful when I am wearing. Notable mention that this would also be perfect for the office goth.

Coming from years of wearing Diptyque’s Eau Duelle, my husband originally gave this fragrance to me after I spoke about wishing to find a canadian made perfume that would still fit my general style. It’s very spice forward and comforting, what you would normally categorise as an « autumn scent ». Having worn an incense-spun fragrance all summer long for many years, when I emptied the gifted bottle a couple weeks back, I decided to double down on Gilded and make it my go-to.
It stays on me until I shower and on my clothes for week, but is not so strong that it embalms the whole office.
I really love this fragrance and am both grateful to paraphrase for making it and to my husband for finding it and gifting it to me.

I started with a discovery set, and used every last drop of every single scent! All of the Paraphrase fragrances last a long time on my skin. The spices in Gilded are so well blended and rich, I decided to make it my full price purchase. I hope it transitions well into spring, because I really cannot stop wearing it! It reminds me, just a small bit, of the Opium perfume my grandmother wore— not at all because it’s overpowering, more because it is so spicy, sophisticated, and timeless.

I am absolutely in love with this scent, but it evaporates on me literally immediately upon application :( I got it in a sample bottle and noticed that as well, but I was so obsessed with the smell, I got a bigger bottle. And I just NEED to figure out how to make it stay on my skin (or hair) because it’s the best thing I’ve ever smelled.

Absolutely stunning woody, dry cardamom. The immortel note give it a very subtle sweetness without being overwhelming. Beautifully blended!

I will start this by saying I’m not one for orange blossom or florals of any kind,. However, this scent is my most worn. The balance of warm incense against bright cardamom is masterful, and the sweetness of the orange blossom beautiful rounds out the spice of ginger. I cannot recommend it enough. If you’re looking for an unexpected cardamom that tells a story rather than screams of a bakery, this is your perfume.

This is my second bottle of this beautiful scent! I wish I could roll around in it like a dog— it’s so addictively delicious. I love cardamom, and this is just the best sugary spicy decadent cardamom scent . An excellent fall and winter fragrance, I’ve gotten many compliments with it layered with 11 11 oil. Also love layering with darker, whisky like scents.

I may write another round of reviews once I give these all a few tries. Admittedly, I tried this while stuffy but the only impression I got was pure incense. That was the only thing making it through my clogged up nose, which makes me wonder if it's the prevalent note to others. It was certainly long-lasting though. I will give another try when I'm less stuffy but this one definitely gives off witchy old lady purse to me.

Immediately brought me back to a summer campfires. Memories of camping came flooding to me. An excellent winter scent where you want a good book, blanket and tea.

Probably my new all time favorite

This is my 2nd favorite scent after Troubled Spirits. The scent comes out strong with a bright spicy punch. Reminds me of spiced rum soaked raisins. It’s mellows to something resinous - smoked wood with hints of maple sweetness . It’s rich and makes me think of crackling fires , warm spices and cooler weather.

Une amie a commandé la boîte d'échantillons et elle m'avait donné Gilded. J'ai beacoup aimé. C'est différent. Boisé mais féminin et subtil comme odeur pour les autres. Il dure longtemps également. J'ai par la suite commandé le format Travel, je suis très satisfaite, c'est super pratique!

This is a deep, warm, incense scent that is very comforting to wear. Doesn’t project past a couple of hours but is a clean, spicy skin scent all day. Very impressed.

This scent is so nostalgic to me. Smells like Christmas decorations for some reason. The first few minutes is a cardamom explosion but after that the sweetness of the brown sugar comes out and it’s so so comforting. I love this.

I have ordered the sample pack twice and 2 different full size bottles - Sweet Grass and Gilded. All of the scents are unique. I love having different options to try out at different times of the year and for various occasions/ moods. Will continue to support this great local company!

Gilded is an intensely woody, resinous beauty with a touch of maple sweetness. I adore this in cold weather, and particularly for moments when you anticipate happy memories to form (though I wear this for myself, by myself most often). An instant love for me!

On my skin it starts off very heavy on notes of incense and dry woods with a tinge of smoke. After the initial few minutes the spices make their presence known over a woody base with a slightly bittersweet resinous note. It's definitely more masculine leaning on me, so I will probably end up layering it with sweeter scents.

This is truly my favourite scent. It's just light enough that I don't feel like I'm wafting around in a cloud and I love the sugary sweet, incense smell. I've been a fan of this scent since first encountering Libertine Fragrance at market collective in 2022 (when the packaging was so basic!) I look forward to this being my signature scent for many years to come.

Subtle, exotic notes of spice and insence woven through with gentle, fresh woody fragrance. Invites soothing memories of lazy yoga stretches and deep meditation. Rich, gentle and soft.

Sexy, sophisticated, woodsy, sweet. I just love it.

I love this fragrance. I sat on the sample for awhile before purchasing - it is not like anything I have smelled before, but it has so much lovely depth. For me, the opening has a lot of resins and a little sweet fizz, almost like Dr. Pepper? I get a little bit more woods in the dry down. The image this evokes for me is drinking fizzy soda while holding hands with someone and walking through a slightly damp woods while the leaves are changing. Truly unisex. Josh does it again!!

I ordered the 10 sample pack early in the fall, and I really liked about half of them, which is saying a lot for me because I am a pretty fussy person when it comes to scents. But Guilded stood out for me with it's slightly burnt tobabccoey, slightly sweet (not too much) scent. I love it, and when I run out, will be ordering more :)

I randomly stumbled across this scent a few years ago on vacation in a small midwestern town, and of course made it through my full size bottle AND my travel roller, and decided to replace just with a travel size. I'm giving this product 4 stars STRICTLY because of the new packaging. The roller allowed various amounts of application, and now with the spritz, about twice what I would choose to apply comes out. Not only does this halve the timeline of need for replacement, it certainly doesn't win me friends wherever I go. After a few days, I've had to resort to driving in the cold with full windows down on the way to work just so I can smell so good at a normal level.

I'm super confused. I don't know how I could possibly be smelling the same scent as these other reviewers. This was straight up WD-40. Awful.
