"I was seeking a sweet but natural scent, which has always felt elusive... I would describe it as a subtle, gentle floral scent that seems to dance in the air. It is very intimate and yet light. The smoky edge adds layers mystery and hints of masculinity that grounds it and makes it amazingly complex" -B.V
Scent is too overpowering for me with the balance of smoke to apricot
My sampler pack arrived while I am recovering from a cold, so I may leave updated reviews in a few weeks. I will say I tried this one on my skin yesterday and I liked it a lot. Long-lasting, subtle, floral but not overly sweet and definitely had some depth. Am leaving 4 stars because I want to try it again when my nose clears up.
A limerick...'ahem'
One summer evening the sky,
was Perseids sparkling and I
by campfire light
breathed in the night
entraced by such magic nearby.
The name Smoked Bloom might be a bit misleading, as there's no discernible tobacco or smoky note listed or detected. Instead, it wears beautifully with a fresh blend of green woody branches, apricot, and orange. It reminds me of picking an orange straight from the tree, with the green, earthy scent of the broken branch mingling with the fruit's bright aroma. A subtle creaminess balances the sharpness of the bergamot, creating a well-rounded composition. A truly beautiful fragrance.
While it shares similarities with Lucky Days, this fragrance leans creamier and slightly woodier, whereas Lucky Days highlights more orange blossom and a crisp, sharp edge.
I’m a very impressed with all the notes of this perfume. You can smell the flowers and the warmth of the sandalwood. It has fruit, flowers and a very amber smell.
