Smells like...
Overripe, sticky juices dripping down your forearms. Tart passionfruit and green vines calling out. Tastes like a tiny victory.
Original sin. A reminder how little of all this anyone actually owns. We are part of it all too so let the sugars vibrate your bones and the sour pucker twist up your face. This is the bounty. The jewel in a beautiful living world.

Some fruit perfumes are mild, some sweet, some powdery, some rely entirely on their base notes to sustain them. And then there's Fruit Thieves. It's juicy, a little skanky upon initial spray, and deliciously tart. Jasmine adds a beautiful floral rounding to the scent. I think what's most magical is the whiffs of passion fruit that keep showing up throughout wear; there's never a point that this dries down and loses its fruity edge. A little green, a little floral, but overall a true fruit scent that's an absolute delight to wear.
Mischief and intrigue in a bottle, this scent is playful, fruity but not sweet, fresh but not clean, an enigmatic and herbaceous scent that features a Passionfruit accord, Jasmine, and Green Vines that I can’t help but interpret as cannabis, the sticky and resinous kind.
This scent very much calls to mind someone with a good heart that has that innocent desire to taste and touch things that feel and taste good, like delicious and abundant fruit hanging there, tantalizing and ready to burst.
That person also has hands sticky from working in their garden, harvesting their cannabis plant and setting it to air dry, and enjoying the plush juiciness of a fresh fruit they just stole. A delightful person with the best intentions for pleasure. I feel very joyful and abundant energy when I wear this fragrance. And my coworker/sommelier the other day asked if I was wearing that “cannabis” perfume because he also picked up on the skank in here. Fun fact, that sommelier’s nickname is actually Garden Bandits from foraging local figs and abundant fruit, which I found to be so perfectly synced with the name and vibe of this fragrance.
This is really addictive… green, sticky, ripe, with a hint of sweetness, a little sour. As someone who doesn’t enjoy the profile of many fruit fruit-forward scents, this is like a revelation. The jasmine really helps to keep it soft but still let the funky passion fruit scent play.
When I wear it, I’m imagining the end of summer when the heat is about to break but hasn’t yet, the air is a little sticky, your laying in the grass, shaded by a flowering tree, juices of a passion fruit you ripped open still clinging to your fingers and face, mixing with the the scent of your sweaty sun soaked skin. It’s perfect.
Like breaking open a (maybe slightly over)ripe passionfruit, the lightly floral tart zing of fills the air. Slowly the zing gives way to a gentle bright green, the jasmine providing a floral greenery and never taking over. She gets lightly musky, warm, tropical, humid --all of the things that make you sweat.
I'm not a fruity perfume lover by nature, but this has enough green and funk to make me want more. Neither candied nor artificial, this is a dripping passionfruit come sensual being.
