Sweet Grass is warm, slightly sweet and lightly green (hay) and makes me think of lingering late summer almost autumn afternoons and laughing with loved friends. It is easy to wear while still being incredibly unique and intriguing and like nothing I have smelled in a fragrance before. - C
This perfume is delicate and fresh. It was a beautiful sent for my wedding day and I will forever look back on it with a loving memory. It is a light perfume and lasts maybe a half day with one or two sprays. The best way I can describe the smell is the crushed leaves of fresh picked lavender.
Sweet Grass is a delightful herbal, hay-centered fragrance that I came upon while digging into herbal perfumes. The juxtaposition of complexly dried spicy hay with the vibrant whiff of yellow flowers and amber seed is both masculine and crowd-pleasing; the smooth tobacco lingering attractive keeps you cannot stop sniffing. This one, along with St.Clair First Cut, should be on my list of top hay fragrances.
Brings up memories of fresh cut hay, sweet clover and sunny days in later summer. Comes off strong but mellows out to a subtle scent on skin.

I grew up on a farm in England and we used to bale our hay in the late summer. Small square bales. My Dad would drive the tractor and his helpers would all follow behind the baler and lift the square bales with the two heavy duty strings that it was tied with and throw them all onto the back of a trailer where I was sitting usually with a farm dog. It was always warm. Everything was golden. Grassland is what the air would smell like. This is what I want to smell like.

I first tried this fragrance in the sample set, and knew I needed it in full size. It's such a warm, comforting scent, like a hay field in August. I can practically hear the cicadas when I wear it.
Bottle arrived quickly and was well packaged. Smells just like the sample.
On my second travel size which is rare since I love trying new scents, but this is one that has stuck in my late summer/autumn rotation. I find it quite spicy and smoky on first spritz, but dries down to a lingering sweet earthiness and warmth that clings to my scarves and sweaters. A very unique and versatile scent to add to any collection!
I really wanted to like this because I imagined some sun-kissed hay fields with earth and maybe a little tea. However, it is fougere from the bottom up. I hope that over time with maceration it improves. Still a well made fragrance, price point is a little high 3.5/5.
This one just wasn’t my cup of tea. It smelled like those stuffed animals that you warm up in the microwave, then took a huge whiff directly after. It’s just not exactly what I want to smell like, but I’ve seen mixed things on how people perceive this scent so I still suggest to give it a try if you’re intrigued.
This is the grassy fragrance that I've been seeking. Herbal, earthy, not too sweet. Feels like a memory more than a moment, bare feet padding over crisp, warm fields. My one critique is that it fades quickly!
Grasslands is a really nice fragrance featuring notes of lavender, tonka bean, fresh cut grass and a touch of rosemary. Very earthy and herbal. Perfect unisex scent, too.

I have the travel size, both bottles, and the roll on. I don't want to be without this.

Love grasslands so much. As a canadian indigenous girly how could I pass up on a fragrance that is basically the exact scent of sweetgrass?! Its gorgeous, natural, feelgood… reminiscent of the smell of smudging with sweetgrass on a warm day. I envision myself wearing this on warmer spring days, and all through summer & early fall. Beautiful fragrance, and I love the colour of the juice and the wooden cap.
I love this scent! Dry cut grass and fresh herbs, warm sunshine in a field, dusty summer haze. Reminds me of my childhood - hours spent in the prairie meadows picking flowers and weaving crowns of grass.
This smells like rural emptiness and blissful solitude.. Photorealistic sweet dried hay baking in the sun, soft lavender, tobacco, spicy warm tonka bean... So sweetly intoxicating upon the initial spray. Has a sort of leather smelling, more masculine tinge to it at first. When it dries down I get mostly lavender and hot yellow hay being carried by like a gentle breeze.. Super evocative smell, very comforting and nostalgic.

I got the sample of this after it was recommended on Reddit. Great scent! Light and earthy. A little on the masculine side, which I prefer. Lasts pretty well.
I bought a discovery set, and was anxious to try grassland as I’m not usually a fresh scent kinda girl. It opens a little spicy, but throughout the day drys down and that hay note really pulls through and I’m obsessed with it. Definitely my new everyday scent.
After trying the best sellers sample pack, I ended up buying this scent in the full bottle version. I love it! It's rich, but not overpowering. Strong, but subtle. It's my everyday perfume and I want all of my clothes to have it's lingering scent.
One of the more unisex smells of the bunch. I keep thinking it would be incredible to use this scent in a spa or hotel lobby as a signature scent. It smells quite literally like dried down, sun-baked sweet hay, and leaves a tiny trace of a spice that almost smells like cinnamon to me. One of the longer lasting ones for me, as well. Quite telling that my mom loves it too, considering she generally loves more sweet, cloying feminine scents.

I first bought grasslands as a sample some years ago, but I worried it was too powerful for me as a regular rotation scent… except when I ran out of it, I realized how much I had fallen in love. On the first spritz, it opens up strong, but it fades into something that, at least on me, feels like a skin scent, something only people close to you would be able to smell – it’s perfectly sultry! I find myself reaching for this mostly in the autumn and winter when I want to sort of have a woody-camp feel about me, but it can be nice on especially sweaty summer days if you are in the mood for something provocative.
One of my favorite sents. I can't get over how perfect it is for late summer early fall. It's like my favorite season in a bottle. To me it smells like hay, and a hint of apples and honey.
My favorite place is a crab apple grove surrounded by tall wild grass. This scent captures the fleeting sweet and spicy scent of that place on a breezy day.

Truly my favorite perfume ever, ive never smelt anything like it. Its warm and smells like a golden sunny day in the grass. For starters im not big into perfume, im so pickyyy but this literally changed the game for me. Im just not into powdery floral perfumes. Was so sad when i got through my first bottle, so i asked for this as a birthday gift! The new bottle is lovely and sleek too. If i can say even one downside its that i wish the scent lasted a little longer throughout the day on my skin for the price. Other than that, stunning perfume. Will buy again once im through my current bottle

This perfume on my skin smells like heaven! Somehow when I got the sample of this perfume under it’s previous name, it didn’t do much for me. However, when I tried the sample with new name, I was addicted. I only got compliments since I start wearing it.
I love this scent. It was my favourite in the sample set and I went ahead to order the full size. It's super comforting and fresh. The Oakmoss and Sundrenched Hay really come through.
I tried this perfume a few years ago because the scent was so good so I recently bought the sample to confirm I wanted to get a full size bottle. I enjoyed the sample so I did end up getting the full size. When I tried the full size, I immediately could tell the scent was not the same as the sample I recently bought. I had 2 family members confirm that I the scent between the sample and full size were not the same. Kind of disappointed, because I love the sample's scent. It still smells alright, it's just not what I was expecting.
I have another perfume from Libertine and it's great (smoked bloom).
